StandingFree was founded to inform, encourage, and equip our community to face today’s challenges with a Biblical influence. We focus on:

  • Protecting children and families

  • Making informed health decisions

  • Encouraging responsible and faith-based voting

Our mission is to proclaim truth and redeem our culture by fostering meaningful discussions and action. We seek to inspire one another to “good works.”

  • Who’s Invited? Everyone—including young adults

VIP Meet & Greet

Several times a year, we offer a special VIP Meet & Greet at 4:45 PM, before our main event. A suggested $50 donation allows attendees to:

  • Enjoy refreshments

  • Meet our guest speaker

  • Take a photo with them

  • Testimony Night – Kicking off each year in January

  • Movie Night – A special summer event in July

  • Open to guests of all faiths—bring your family, friends, and co-workers

Our Foundation & Beliefs

StandingFree was founded with guidance from Pastor Mike McClure and is based on the scripture:

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm.” – Ephesians 6:13-14

While we occasionally feature non-Christian or political speakers, we do not idolize politics. Our ultimate hope is in Jesus Christ.

Calvary Chapel San Jose & The Fight for Religious Freedom

During the COVID shutdown,CCSJ remained open in defiance of government mandates, under the courageous leadership of Pastor Mike McClure. As a result, the church was fined $4.5 million (later reduced to $1.2 million). This case is still in litigation and may go to the Supreme Court.

Despite these challenges, God has blessed Calvary SJ:

  • Grew from 200 to 3,000+ members in two years

  • Over 1,000 baptisms during that time

  • Hosted 1,800+ attendees for major events

StandingFree is a small non-profit ministry. No one receives a salary—we are fully operated by a team of dedicated volunteers.
